What good is real-money online bingo if you can't get your money in and/or out of the web site? We'll teach you all about different deposit and withdrawal methods, regional availability and how they work.
Virtual bingo is a fantastic way to enjoy your favorite pastime, even for real money wagers and prizes. But you'll have to be able to move funds into, and out of, your account in order to play online bingo. In this article, we'll teach you all about banking at online bingo sites, as well as the most common deposit and withdrawal methods and how they work.
To make a deposit, first you'll need to sign up an account with an online bingo site. Please see our How to play bingo and Where to Buy Bingo Cards sections to learn what to look for in an online bingo room, or read our Online Bingo Reviews for more information.
Login to your new online bingo account and click your way to the cashier. You can usually find this on any page, or by visiting the My Account section.
From the cashier, choose to make a deposit.
Select the deposit method that suits you best from the menu.
Fill in the required details for your deposit methods. Credit/Debit cards will require your name and address as they appear on the card (must match your sign-up info), the card number and expiration. For online payment processors, enter the account ID and amount to be deposited. Then you'll be asked to login to your payment processor account and confirm the transfer.
Assuming you've used an instant deposit method (most of them are), your funds should be instantly available for use in the online bingo room.

This process is much the same as depositing, except that you may have to verify your identity the first time you request a withdrawal. We'll cover this process, as well as the actual withdrawal procedures.
1. Make a copy of a valid photograph ID, such as your Driver's License, Photo ID Card or Passport.
2. Make a copy of a recent utility bill (gas, electric, telephone, etc.), making sure your name and address are visible.
3. Fax these documents to the fax number provided by the online bingo room.
1. Login to the online bingo site and visit the cashier.
2. Choose to make a withdrawal.
3. Select a suitable withdrawal method from the menu (you may be required to use the same method you deposited with.)
4. Follow the instructions, and input the amount you wish to withdrawal.
5. Confirm the withdrawal.
Most online bingo sites will require a 48-hour waiting period before processing your withdrawal. During this time, you may reverse the withdrawal request if you wish.
Online bingo sites often accept a wide range of deposit and withdrawal methods. We'll list each of the most common methods below, along with a brief description of how they work.
Credit / Debit Card: Credit and Debit Cards(Visa, Mastercard) are the most common payment option at online bingo rooms, especially for depositing. Not all sites allow withdrawals via credit/debit cards, but some do. This method is the most secure, and always instant.
Online payment processors include NETeller, Moneybookers, EcoCard, Click2Pay, UseMyWallet, PayPal and more. Most offer instant deposits, and many can be linked directly to your bank account so you don't have to transfer funds into the payment processor before making a deposit.
Pre-Paid Cards: Less common at online bingo rooms, but still noteworthy, are pre-paid cards. These include pre-paid gift cards and phone cards, like pre-paid Visa and FoneLinx. Gift card are just like crdit cards, where pre-paid phone cards simply ask for the numbers on the back of the card. The amount the card is purchased for determines the deposit limit.
Cash Transfer: Cash Transfers are facilitated by money wiring companies, like Western Union and MoneyGram. If you see these logos, you can visit any local agent, or use the online service, to make a deposit. First visit the online bingo site and request the transfer info required. If not readily available on the web site, customer support will give this to you. Then visit the agent and supply the info, along with the deposit amount. They will give you a Transaction ID #. Return to the bingo room and give them this #, plus the date/time of transaction and deposit amount. They will confirm it, and the money is available thereafter. Though not instant, it generally takes only 10 minutes or so to confirm.
Bank Transfer: bank transfers are when you go to your bank an request fund be sent directly to the online bingo site's bank. You'll need their banking info first, so be sure to copy it and bring it with you. It will be available directly on the site, or by contacting customer support. Bank transfers can be very slow, taking anywhere from 3 to 10 business days to complete.
Bank Wire: Bank wires work exactly the same as Bank Transfers, but are much faster Ц anywhere from instant to 2 business days. Be prepared to pay for the expedience!
E-Check: Just like writing out a real paper check, you can write an online E-Check (Electronic Check). Using a real paper check, copy the check #, account # and bank's routing number when depositing. Graphic instructions will help you find this info on your check. This is also an instant payment method. Though the online bingo room will not receive the funds instantly, they can confirm that the funds are available and will arrive within 10 days.
Check/Bank Draft: This is not a recommended deposit method as it can be extremely slow, but for withdrawals, it's very commonly used. Us players especially may find checks to be the most reliable method of receiving payments. It may take up to 6 weeks to receive the check if delivered by mail (courier service often available), but it is very secure.
