Sporstbetting Bonus Rules

Individual sportsbetting operators will present their own bonus rules, so they are going to vary from one site to another. We can't tell you exactly what they will be, but we can help you understand the common bonus rules involved with sportsbetting bonuses.

Percentage based bonuses will require a minimum deposit amount, usually ranging from $1 to $25. If your first deposit meets or exceeds the minimum deposit, you are eligible for the bonus. Most percentage based bonuses will also present a maximum bonus amount payable on your first deposit. For example, a 50% bonus may pay up to a maximum of $200. Therefore, a $400 deposit would grant the max $200 bonus, but a $500 deposit would not grant higher than $200 in bonus money.

Be sure to see if you need to contact the online sportsbook to receive the bonus. While most betting bookmakers bonuses are instant, some will require you to email support and request the bonus.

There will be wagering requirements involved, also known as roll-over requirements. A common roll-over would be 3x the bonus + deposit amount on a low percentage bonus, or 20-25x on a 100% matching bonus. This means you have to wager the deposit + bonus amount that many times over before you can request a withdrawal. For example, you get a 10% bonus on a $100 deposit, for a total of $110. You need 3x rollover, so you must wager $330 before withdrawing.

Another common bonus rule is that the funds must stay in your account for so many days before you can withdrawal. A 30-day waiting period is typical.

Last but not least, be sure you have used a payment method that applies to the bonus. Sometimes, certain sports deposit methods will not produce a bonus, while other payment methods may actually grant a larger bonus. Be sure to check for this before depositing.

On a final note, we strongly encourage you to read the complete bonus terms and conditions. By understanding all of the common bonus rules above, and reading the actual terms and conditions, you should have no trouble taking advantage of your next sportsbetting bonus.
