Phil Hellmuth, the chip leader at this year’s World Poker Tour Classic (WPT) heading into Wednesday managed to fall to the number 18 position by late in the evening. His lead was now filled by Paul Lee.
Earlier in the day it was all pro Hellmuth making the right moves.
“You bluffed $200,000 against the best player in the world on the top of his game, you won’t make it past the end of the day.” Hellmuth finally showed As-6s and right before he mucked he told Buchanan, “I see right through your soul.”
