Everest Poker was pleased to announce the Everest Poker Japan Cup’s winners. The Everest Poker Japan Cup is a series of online and live freeroll poker tournaments held only for Japanese poker players. The final tournament will take place on Tinian Island.
Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager said they’d been really impressed with the response from their Japanese players, many of them were playing live poker for the first time.
These free tournaments give the chance to show off the skills they’ve developed.
The winner of May 12 live qualifier at Duke uses the screen name of AG1 at Everest Poker. He’s been playing online poker for ten months and planning to use the grand prize as an opportunity to visit other countries if he wins. The winner of May 17 was Namazu7, he is planning to take a company trip using the grand prize. The winner of May 10 was alternative0, has been playing for 8 months and planning to use the grand prizeas a buy-in for WSOP 2008.
To register for the online qualifier you need to log into your Everest Poker account, click on the Multi Table tournament tab, select the online tournament in which you wish to participate in and register. Players who do not win their live event tournaments will be eligible to play in a special monthly “second chance” tournament. Details on participating at these special tournaments will only be available at the live tournaments.
