Montreal, QC (PRWEB) June 18, 2007 — Everest Poker today announced that the second Everest Poker European Cup would be coordinated by Thomas Kremser. Kremser is best known in tournament circles as the organizer behind the European Poker Tour.
“Getting Kremser on board to help with EPEC offers a tremendous benefit to both Everest Poker and the participating players,” said Jonathan May, Everest Poker’s property manager. “As a player himself, he knows exactly what participants in EPEC will expect.”

The Everest Poker European Cup is a series of live and online qualification tournaments held across the continent. Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Austria and Portugal will be the host countries for the live events. Online qualifiers will also occur for each country on Friday evenings at 19:00GMT. The final event will take place at the Algarve in Southern Portugal. Last year’s tournament brought together 100 players from the continent together to compete for €50,000 while this year’s final doubles not only the number of players, but the total amount available to winners.
“Between Kremser becoming the organizer and announcing the final venue, this has been a busy month for EPEC,” added May. “We’re fully dedicated to making this one of the most talked-about poker events of this year!”
