World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Samuel Peter defends his interim title against Russian boxer Oleg Maskaev at the Bullring in Cancun, Mexico on Saturday. The twice postponed Peter/Maskaev bout will determine the WBC champion after the world body stripped Maskaev of the title following his withdrawal from the clash against the Nigerian Nightmare last October.
