Weekend at Sportingbet
It’s a massive weekend of sport with the Championship drawing to a close in England while Manchester United and Chelsea continue to battle away in the Premier League. In Horse Racing the opening classics of the new flat season take place at Newmarket while the World Snooker Championships wraps up from Sheffield. Make sure you bet with Sportingbet as the weekend action unfolds.
FOOTBALL
Man Utd 1.15 Draw 6.00 West Ham 15.00
Defeat at the hands of Chelsea last Saturday has saw Manchester United’s Premier League lead disappear. On Saturday they host West Ham who are a huge price with Sportingbet to cause a shock.
Fulham 2.15 Draw 3.3 Birmingham 3.00
Defeat here for Fulham would all but send them down, but their recent form has improved and Birmingham’s away record leaves a lot to be desired.
Bolton 1.65 Draw 3.5 Sunderland 4.75
Seven points out of the last nine have pushed Bolton out of the relegation zone and they all but secure safety if they can get past Sunderland in the Saturday teatime game.
Newcastle 5.5 Draw 3.6 Chelsea 1.57
Bank Holiday Monday sees Chelsea travel north to face Newcastle in a crunch match for the London club. Three points here would put them in a great position.
HORSE RACING
This weekend the flat season really kicks into gear at Newmarket with the 2000 and 1000 Guineas taking place. The strong favourite for the colts classic is the Jim Bolger trained New Approach who looks to protect his unbeaten record. Lining up against him are the Solario winner Ravens Pass and Godolphin hope Ibn Khaldun.

Ravens Pass 21/5
Ibn Khaldun 11/2

On Sunday the fillies take centre stage as the 1000 Guineas takes place and all eyes will be on John Gosden’s Nell Gwyn winner Infallible. Does she have the stamina to win at a mile? Another trial winner in contention is the Dubai Duty Free winner Muthabara and Sportingbet make her second favourite to win.
