Canadian Student Turns Freeroll Win into Top Prize at Titan Poker’s Madrid Open

Titan Poker, the largest poker room in the iPoker Network, introduced a talented poker player Greg Metzak cheque for 40000 euros (more than $ 61500) this week in EC Poker Tournament (ECPT) in Madrid. Greg, 23 - year old psychology student from Canada, won his place in Madrid in online friroll tournament by the Titan Poker exclusively for its VIP players.

A skilled player was one of 66 players sent to Titan Poker ECPT Madrid Open. Poker enthusiasts from around the globe flew to Madrid to this grand event.

For Greg, this event was not only his first experience in live tournament, but also his first trip to Europe. Despite this, he succeeded in defeating experienced and professional poker players to claim the first prize of 40,000 Euros. He said: “Thanks to Titan Poker, I have had a week in Madrid and now 40,000 Euros - who could ask for more?”

Despite his outstanding victory, Greg plans to initially keep quiet about his success to his friends and relatives in Canada.

Titan Poker Player Ingo Nassall from Germany took the second place and won Euro 23000.

In addition to the ECPT Madrid Open, Titan Poker regularly awards the players with seats to the world most popular poker tournaments such as the Aussie Millions and Various European Poker Tour. Also Titan Poker sends players to the WSOP 2008 in Las Vegas and Asian Poker Tour in Manila later this year. At the end of the month, poker room will hold the European Championship for Online Poker 2 (ECOOP), where poker players will be able to share $3,600,000.
