Jeff Gordon is favored to pick up his first win of the 2008 Sprint Cup Series season at the Toyota SaveMart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California on Sunday (3:30 pm ET, TNT). Gordon, ranked ninth in the Sprint Cup driver standings, is NASCAR’s all-time leader in road course wins with nine - five of them at Infineon.

No Tiger, No Rocco
Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate won’t be there, but 150 other golfers will be taking part in the 2008 Travelers Championship, which kicks off Thursday at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut (Golf Channel, 3 pm ET). Mediate lost the 2008 U.S. Open to Woods in a thrilling, 19-hole playoff on Monday.
