New No. 1 for U.S. Open
The 2008 U.S. Open Tennis Championships open Monday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. (11 am ET, CBS, USA). One of the four major tennis tournaments that make up the Grand Slam, the U.S. Open will be the first event for new men’s No. 1 Rafael Nadal, who overtook Roger Federer in world rankings this week.
