How to take part
To join a tournament, you must log into the Platinum Play Casino Lobby. Remember, you need to register a REAL Platinum Play or register a REAL Royal Vegas account to play for cash!
1. Click on the ‘Play Now’ button in the Platinum Play / Royal Vegas Casino Lobby.
2. Click the ‘Tournaments’ option.
3. Then choose ‘Blackjack Tournaments’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the tournament type you would like to play. Your options are:

* Scheduled (you must register before the published start time)
* Sit ‘n Go (you will NOT need to register to play)
5. Once you’ve chosen your Tournament, double click on it to either join or register (depending on the type of tournament you have selected):

* If there is a tournament entry fee, you will be asked to confirm whether you would like your account debited.
* After confirming your entry, your playing chips will become available, and depending on the tournament type you’ve entered, you will be able to see WHEN the tournament begins and how long it will last for.
* NOTE: You can only join a Tournament that has an ‘Open’ status displayed.

Freerolls vs. Buy-ins
There are ‘Freeroll’ Tournaments and ‘Buy-in’ Tournaments. You don’t have to make a deposit to play in Freerolls, however to play in a Buy-in tournament you will have to deposit the specified buy-in amount. You will have to have at least the amount needed for the buy-in in your account. If you don’t have credits, make a deposit and then buy into the tournament. Now for the fun part: the tournament will start, and you can play like mad! Your position in the leaderboard will remain highlighted throughout. At the end of the tournament, the player with the biggest chip stack wins!
