Iron Man Challenge, Draw Poker Games

Saturday, January 15th, 2011

Iron Man Challenge – Iron Man Plus
Full Tilt Poker have made some exciting improvements to the Iron Man program, including the return of the popular Iron Man Plus.

• New Qualification Methods: There are new qualification methods for players who strive to make Gold or Iron status level each month.

Players can qualify for Gold status by earning 500 Full Tilt Points a day for 15 days a month, or qualify for Iron by earning 500 points a day for 20 days a month.

• Iron Man Plus: Back by popular demand, when players qualify for any status level in a month and earn at least 1,000 points on any day, they receive bonus Iron Man medals. When they earn 1,000 points or more in a day, they get five bonus medals, while getting to 2,000 points and beyond will net your players 15 more bonus medals.

• Iron Man Freeroll Tickets: When players qualify for any Iron Man status level they’ll now be automatically awarded a Tournament Ticket to the corresponding Iron Man Challenge Freeroll. If players would prefer not play in the Freeroll, tickets can be exchanged for bonus medals.

Draw Poker Games
Full Tilt Poker now offers five variants of Draw Poker:

• 5-Card Draw: This classic game features one draw round and is played for the high.
• 2-7 Triple Draw: One of the most popular draw games, 2-7 Triple Draw features three draw rounds to make the best possible low hand.
• 2-7 Single Draw: Also known as Kansas City Lowball, this game is similar in nature to 2-7 Triple Draw, but only features one draw round.
• A-5 Triple Draw: Another draw game played for the low, A-5 Triple draw differs from 2-7 games in that the Ace is always considered a low card rather than a high card, and straights and flushes are ignored.
• Badugi: A unique draw game is played using only four pocket cards. There are three draw rounds, and the goal of the game is to make a low hand using four different cards of all different suits.

Draw variants are available as ring games and in various tournament formats, including a 10-game, 9-game and 8-game mix tournaments.
